799 heads are the most recent models in the market, which are cast using a semi-permanent mold method. Although they contain similar triangle casting marks like the 2004LS2 heads, they do not require cleaning like the 243s.

When using 799 heads, I did not have to do any cleaning on them, unlike the others. But since they are factory processed, you can expect a few deviations here and there. However, that is nothing much. My stock of 799 heads does not need any work, and I also noticed that they have an excellent finishing.

Something else that is good is about the 799 is that testing is done using both pressure and vacuum when verifying the valve seating. It is also the best way to confirm the reliability of the channel.

When packing the cylinders, one thing that is a must is to confirm the containers are recyclable and environmentally safe. They must also be a perfect size, especially for returning the unique core.

All filaments and machine-created surfaces are repaired with high machinery as compared to the unique metal. Also, all the iron surfaces that are not used for sealing are paint-coated to ensure no oxidation occurs.

Another thing that is worth noting with the remanufactured 799 cylinder heads is that the valves undergo thorough testing at all angles, including vacuum testing. Therefore, it gives me confidence in having a perfect compression. Also, the finishing is good as it is PCD milled to make sure it is very smooth.

Also, all the heads have a new valve stem and can be replaced with new ones to ensure high-quality performance. All the 799 heads have a 3-year unlimited warranty. However, it is essential to ensure installation is done as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
